LCAD, Typography 2 (2022), prof. Dana Herkelrath

This assignment entailed the creation of a mock-up typography focused booklet which was based on the renowned architect Le Corbusier.

Through meticulous design and conceptualization, my class crafted word marks, developed identities, and organized page layouts and posters.

Drawing inspiration from Corbusier's distinct style, the final designs showcased bold geometric forms reminiscent of brutalist architecture.

To reflect the square, equally spaced “wordmark” vector illustrations, the dimensions for the book ended up being the same.

Every square digital drawing is made up of letters, and the 4 diagonal square clusters are greyed out to lead the eye through the sleek, dark cover.
